Any occupation of the public airport domain is provided through a contract authorizing temporary occupancy (AOT) according to the General Code on Public Property (CG3P).
The principle of publicity and call for competition for occupying the public domain applies, in particular when the available premises become insufficient. In the absence of a lack of premises, Marseille Provence Airport can allocate surfaces without a competitive bidding procedure. In addition, derogations from competition procedure are provided when they concern : air carriers, ground handlers, freight and post, and public transport operators.
