Embarking for tomorrow

Opening the skies of Provence to a world of responsible travel

We want to be in step with a region at the forefront of major transitions by accelerating our transformation towards a model of sustainable growth that continues to develop the region's essential connectivity while minimizing its impact.

We welcome more than 11 million travelers per year while limiting the number of aircraft movements, making Marseille Provence Airport the second-busiest French airport for cargo and the third-busiest for passenger traffic.

Transforming the airport around five key areas

This means developing our airline routes in close collaboration with stakeholders involved in promoting the region's appeal, in order to meet the needs of our region while raising its international profile. It also means limiting negative externalities on local residents and optimizing accessibility to the airport while developing public transport links.

Our challenge is to make the airport experience something to look forward to, rather than a necessary evil with no added value. We have set ourselves the challenge of digitizing all points of contact to increase efficiency and meet our customers' need for autonomy, while offering value-added services to those who need them most.

Being committed to our region means being at the heart of industrial synergies and collaboration between local players, contributing to the influence and attractiveness of our region. From a local biofuel production sector to the operation of an entire carbon-free energy ecosystem and the implementation of a value-added land development site, there is no shortage of examples!

Particularly at this pivotal moment, when we are collectively contributing to the transformation of an entire industry, our nearly 400 employees are the direct instigators. With a desire to be a benchmark employer, we aim to attract the best profiles and retain them by developing the skills and leadership of each individual.

Developing all of these projects requires sound, controlled and long-term management of our finances, combining financial and non-financial levers. Measuring and steering our non-financial value creation will have a virtuous effect that can be reinvested in a more sustainable future.
