Marseille Provence Airport is continuing its technological transformation at Terminal 1 with an accessible and intuitive AI voice assistant.
A dozen "conversational agents", displayed on life-sized panels throughout key areas of the terminal, are available to answer travellers' practical questions such as: "Where is gate 24?", "Where are the toilets?", “Where can I buy a pizza?”
Easy to use in over 30 languages!
No need to download an app or provide an email address; simply scan the QR code on the panel. Passengers can then instantly access the voice assistant on their phone, in their own language, including Mandarin. In total, around 30 languages are available.
Intuitive
The voice guidance is supported by step-by-step visuals displayed directly on the passenger’s smartphone, using photos to make navigation easier. This is powered by ISM (Indoor Semantic Mapping) technology, an innovation developed in France by Hubway.
About Marseille Provence Airport (AMP)
The Marseille Provence Airport site is home to more than 140 companies and 4,500 employees, including 380 directly employed by the airport itself. Our goal is to develop a sustainable airport model with several strategic development goals for 2030: air connectivity and accessibility, customer experience and ecological and energy transitions. In 2024, the airport welcomed more than 11.1 million passengers in, 70% of which was international traffic. Its economic impact on the region exceeds €1 billion and supports 16,000 indirect jobs. More than two-thirds of its 2024-2028 investment program will be reinjected into the local economy.
